Residential Appraiser Classes and 15 Hour USPAP
Residential Track Appraiser Classes are now available. Even if you think you will eventually become a General Appraiser, these are the classes that you need to take to become a certified trainee appraiser in North Carolina. The complete September - October 2008 schedule for Gastonia (west of Charlotte) is available on the schedule and registration page.

Ninety (90) hours of qualifying education courses are required o take and pass before submitting your application to the North Carolina Appraisal Board to become a registered trainee. The four classes (below) each have an in-class exam at the end. The fee for all four classes and books and handouts is $1650 with a $300 deposit due at registration. -Schedule and registration-

II. Basic Appraisal Procedures (30 hours; 4 days)
III. Residential Market Analysis & Highest and Best Use
(15 hours; 2 days)
IV. 15 Hour National USPAP Class (15 hours; 2 days)

General Appraiser Courses
General Appraiser Classes are not available at this time. Please remember that you must first take the 90 hours required to become a trainee (see Residential Appraiser Classes above), before you can take the General Appraiser Classes.
